“Devil May Cry” Character Series: Kat

In this photo series, Sage Mears cosplays herself from the upcoming prequel to the popular video game franchise, Devil May Cry. Sage plays Kat, a new character in the series described as a “medium and a gifted psychic who can see into Limbo, the demon realm, but not directly interact with it in the way that Dante does.” Which pretty much sums up Sage too.

Taking our cues from character art that depicts Kat as some kind of street artist, we went thrift-shopping, painted a sweatshirt, and took the streets of downtown LA to find good street art. The character of Kat was modeled after Sage, and she did the voice and motion capture for the game as well. DmC is set for release on January 15, 2013.
